Jacky Bloemraad-de Boer
Jacky is the creator of Midwife Cafe. As a midwife, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, nutritionist, herbalist, doula, author and educator, she has over 20 years of experience specialising in maternal health. Her skills bring together modern midwifery and ancient wisdom passed down by women supporting women over the ages. Jacky lives and works both in South Africa and The Netherlands.

Midwife Cafe offers online consultations and lectures in Women’s Health: Menstrual Health; Fertility; Pregnancy; Preparation for Childbirth; Postpartum and Weaning.
Midwife Cafe’s aim is to support women during a pivotal time in their lives and to also inspire women’s health professionals to consolidate modern midwifery with ancient, empirical knowledge.

PPCP Training
Jacky has experience in providing holistic postpartum care as a midwife and in working with the unique ‘kraamzorg’ custom in the Netherlands. This has inspired her to begin the Professional Postpartum Care Provider (PPCP) Training under the name Midwife Cafe, in South Africa.
